1. Citizens

To become a lawyer in Indonesia, you must be an Indonesian citizen. Only Indonesian citizens can practice as lawyers in this country. You must also be registered as a domicile in the Indonesian territory.

2. In case of non-concurrent position

Also, if you want to work as a lawyer, you cannot hold multiple positions. That is, you are not currently a government official or hold another position. If the fact of concurrent employment is proven, it may be subject to sanctions.
3. Over 25 years of age

Attorneys must also meet age requirements. Prospective attorneys must be at least 25 years old. Typically, prospective lawyers will complete college, professional training, and apprenticeships at that age, as long as all goes well.

4. Possess a Bachelor of Laws degree

5. Already in an internship

Another requirement that prospective attorneys must meet is participating in an internship. To become a lawyer, you must complete an apprenticeship program of at least two years. This internship program gives you a lot of knowledge and experience before actually working as a lawyer.
6. Never committed any criminal act.

7. Be polite
